How to take a screenshot on your iPad

Have you ever wanted to capture what was on your iPad screen? Show off a high score in Angry Birds Space or capture a masterpiece from Draw Something?

Capturing your iPad screen is easy to do, and is built right into iOS. With the touch of two buttons, anything you see on that big Retina display can be saved right to your Camera Roll and, from the Photos app, quickly shared via email, Twitter, iMessage, and more. It's a great trick and can really come in handy any time you want to remember or pass along something you see on your iPad.

Plantronics BackBeat Go headset sports tangle-free cord, 'rich' stereo sound

Image
Plantronics has made a name for itself in the wireless headset space, but there's plenty of room to grow when it comes to premium stereo offerings. BackBeat Go is the company's smallest and lightest wireless earbud set to date, tipping the scale at 13 grams, or "about the weight of three nickels." The cordless rig includes a pair of earbuds linked with a flat tangle-free cord, with inline controls to adjust volume and an integrated mic for calls. The Bluetooth-enabled Go can sync up with one device at a time, so you'll need to repeat the pairing process if switching between phones or to a tablet -- and you should be able to snag 4.5 hours of listening and talk time or 10 hours of standby with a single charge. Digital noise reduction and echo canceling play into the call experience, while the "deep, rich, stereo sound" means the earbuds are equally suited for leisure. Sound good to you? You can snag your own set for a cool $100 by clicking through to the source link below.

Alternative PC Tablets Like the iPad

Over the past two decades, alternative PC tablets like the iPad have been developed by computer entrepreneurs like the late Steve Jobs to make people’s lives easier in many ways, as well as more entertaining. The iPad was first released in 2010 and within a year, it had sold more units than all other tablets put together. Already it has been updated once, and the iPad 3 may be released within the next month or so – although even now [...]

NTT, Sharp, Gainax make a Japan-only Neon Genesis Evangelion phone, get your plane tickets now

ImageImage
If someone offered you the chance to buy a Neon Genesis Evangelion NERV-branded phone, you'd jump at it right? After all, there's nothing better than pretending you live under constant threat of alien attack, or that the teenage clone of your dead mother could turn into a giant and... moving on. Sharp, NTT DoCoMo and Gainax teamed up to produce this SH-O6D with a custom case, new hardware buttons and a (as yet unfinished) skinned version of Gingerbread that resembles the readouts you're likely to see in the depths of Tokyo-3. See America? This is how you appeal to fans, by making the tiniest amount of extra effort, rather than just slapping a logo on the bottom of whatever regular handset you're selling.

New iPad 3 Cost

Now that the new iPad (aka iPad 3) is on the market for sale, there’s a big question in most people’s minds: is it worth the cost? After all there’s now a much bigger choice of tablet PCs than when the first generation iPad first appeared. Cost can be a big issue when choosing a tablet, but it’s also important to consider the features that are supplied by different tablet PCs. Apple have really stuck with one pricing model over [...]
