1Password 4 for iPhone and iPad has received its first significant update since its release and includes many improvements for sync, security, vault and web modes, search, secure notes, and more.
Dropbox and iCloud syncing have been improved in the new 1Password 4.1 and there also also been new support for USB sync utility added. There has also been a few changes made in the Security Settings and a new Display Settings section has been added that allows users to choose from four different fonts for passwords and toggle whether you wan to conceal your passwords or show rich icons for each of your logins.
The new Vault Mode in 1Password 4 has also been improved with new gestures and navigation. Now you don't need to tap-and-hold on rows in the item detail view to display the menu (you just simply tap, instead) and on the iPad, tapping the tab icon twice will take you to the root view.
Agiles Bits have also squashed some of the bugs in Web Mode and added an option to copy the current URL. Additionally, search has been improved by always showing the search bar and on the iPad, you can search for items in portrait orientation. Attachments will now also be shown in Secure Notes.
What do you think of this update to 1Password 4? Was something you were hoping for overlooked?

At CES last week Samsung set a new benchmark in size with its 85-inch S9 that edged past the Ultra HD competition by one inch, and now it's setting a new high mark for price as well, at least in Korea. While we still don't have any US pricing or release details, the first 77 models encased in that "Timeless Gallery" frame are going up for pre-order, priced at 40,000,000 won ($37,877 US). Other than the obligatory 214cm of 4K goodness, it has built-in 2.2 channels speakers, quad-core CPU and Precision Black Pro LCD panel. We've heard that sales of Sony and LG's models have been surprisingly brisk despite their high prices so you may want to run, not walk to your local Korean high-end electronics retailer to get one first. Of course, if you wait, you can always snag the 95- or 110-inch model that are promised to ship later this year, albeit at similar prices. While you're deciding, check out our hands-on pictures and video to get an idea of what awaits.

Hardbound books, apparently, are soooo 20th century -- at least for the upcoming BiblioTech library in San Antonio, Texas' south side. When the shiny, new public library opens its doors to bookworms this fall, visitors will notice something important missing: actual books. Instead, the facility will be serving up ebooks -- about 10,000 digital titles or so -- in an attempt to supplement the area's traditional library system with some new-school cool. To help users partake in its content, BiblioTech will also carry actual e-readers for users to check out. Footage of the media event shows what appears to be a Barnes & Noble Nook Simple Touch as the facility's e-reader of choice. Checked-out ebooks are also programmed to be accessible by the borrower for a two-week period. Going the digital route has certainly been a growing trend -- 3M recently launched a Cloud Library lending service while one Austrian town kicked off its own unique e-book repository based on stickers equipped with QR codes and NFC chips. As ongoing issues involving Penguin show, however, digital lending sadly still has some hurdles to overcome.

If the Tegra 4 processor, Project Shield and NVIDIA Grid caught your eye during CES, I wouldn't blame you. Having sat in the front row for the press conference prior to CES, I can attest to the fact that great things are coming from the company in the first half of 2013.
With that in mind, I've wrapped up all of the NVIDIA news in one place. Hit the quick links below for the best NVIDIA news and announcements from CES 2013:
For more on NVIDIA, be sure to keep it locked @AndroidCentral and @MobileNations. However, I also encourage you to follow @nvidiategra and @nvidia… and keeping an eye on the NVIDIA Blog may not be a bad idea either :)
